Typsnitt i fransk bokutgivning

I en akademisk uppsats om typografin i flera franska litteraturserier identifieras Didot som typsnitt för Gallimard Blanche och Bodoni som typsnitt för Les editions de Minuit:

Editions Gallimard and Les editions de Minuit display the information on their covers with two different, yet very similar-looking typefaces; the former uses the Didot typeface, the latter the Bodoni typeface. Although an untrained eye probably would not distinguish Didot characters from Bodoni characters¹

I en diskussionstråd där detta diskuterades föreslogs också 12 Bauer Bodoni Bold Condensed 24033, 1989 Adobe, tätt följt av, Ex Aequo, BauerBodoni LT Bold Condensed och Bauer Bodoni Std 2 Bold Condensed, båda linotype. Dessa två typär förmodligen identiska fast med olika namn. Versalerna förmodades också vara Bauer Bodoni och där 8BauerBodoni 09033-Black kondenserad till 87% av någon bedömdes vara typsnittet i fråga.
